Yosemite National Park - California
The Yosemite Valley is more beautiful than I thought. I knew it was pretty, but some views I just did not want to leave. Planning the trip was a lengthy and frustrating process given how popular the park is and how NPS limited a lot of things given COVID-19 and my wife and I did not get to see as much as we had planned given her accident, but the trip was well worth our time and we may have to figure out how to return.
The classic view of Yosemite Vally from the Tunnel View. While it's not a scene from the backcountry, it sure is a a view I could look at all day long.
Half Dome seems to be an amazing-looking mountain from any view -- including this one from the Yosemite Valley.
My friends and I spent the evening at Glacier Point to see what the sunset might bring. As the evening sun left some alpenglow on Half Dome, we were not disappointed with the show.

Sometimes studying a smaller part of nature can free your mind from the distractions of life. The late afternoon sun from this day created such interesting side light on Yosemite Falls which I found more pretty than watching the whole waterfall.
Thus hussle and bussle of life sometimes needs to be interrupted with a quiet evening. I had just that while the evening sun when down on El Capitan and Bridelveil Falls as shown from the Yosemite Valley.
